Media and Entertainment Management
The Indian Media and Entertainment (M&E) Industry, one of the most vibrant and exciting industries in the world, has had a tremendous impact on the lives and the Indian economy which registered a growth of 11.8 per cent over 2012 and expected to register a CAGR of 14.2 per cent by 2018. This fastest growing entertainment & media market among BRICS has enormous potential for career development. Keeping this in mind, we initiated MBA in Media and Entertainment Management. This programme is designed to provide management education to graduates with the orientation towards the Media and Entertainment Industry.
The programme aims to make the students understand about the fundamentals of all forms of media vehicles: on air (radio, television, digital film), offline (printed media), on ground (events and experiential marketing) and online (cyber) with learning of all functions of communication in various forms (educate, inform, entertain, persuade, interact, engage and empower) and their applications in the context of Media and Entertainment Management.
