International Conference on Emerging Perspectives, Practices and Research Trends on

“Exploring the Ever Dynamic Field of Finance & Accounting”

With the objective of creating a platform for a healthy exchange, debate and development of ideas on emerging issues in management, Faculty of Management studies, Ganpat University, organizes GCeMP every year. GCeMP 2k17 was the ninth in the series, and the theme this year was Finance & Accounting sponsored by CARS- Centre for Advance Research, Ganpat University and supported by All India Management Society (AIMS)- Gujarat Chapter.

GCeMP 2k17 received overwhelming response from various spheres. 30 delegates from 15 different institutes from all over the country had registered for GCeMP 2k17. The papers were divided into four tracks for presentation and were to be judged by experts of the relevant field.

In the presence of Shri Ganpatbhai Patel, Patron in Chief Ganpat University and shri Anilbhai patel president, Ganpat University, Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Director General of the University and Prof. Ujal Mehta, Chairperson of the conference the conference was inaugurated. Mr. K V Prasad, Country Head- Commercial Business, Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company ltd was the chief gust of the Inaugural function who set the tone for the conference with the practical insights and importance of value and ethics before all.  Dr. Yogesh Joshi, Dean, G H. Patel institute of management, Sardar Patel University, delivered the Kay Note address on the challenges and prospects of demonetization and its impact on different sectors of Indian economy.

CA Pradip Modi, founder PKM Advisory Services Private Limited. Prof. Umesh Menon, Sr. Faculty Member of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Gandhinagar and Mr. Pravin Sumesara, Sales Manager, Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund deliberated the Plenary Sessions on “GST”, “Financial Planning for Start-Ups and New Enterprises” and “Investment Opportunities and Trends in Global Financial Scenario” respectively during the conference.   

Shri Vinodkumar Patel, CEO The Mehsana Urban Cooperative Bank and Dr. Satyen Parikh, Executive Director, Academic Affairs, Ganpat University graced the valedictory function and delivered the awards in different categories.
