Learning through Projects:
Effective learning support is a real asset to a B-school and a powerful aspect of MBA educational experience. Students are given regular short-term projects in the form of operational work-outs to learn the application of classroom learning in real life. At GNU-CMS, faculty members ensure that students select their SIP company and mega research project area with utmost care so that these learnings can be leveraged by them at the time of final placement.
Summer Internship Program (SIP):
The main objective of SIP is to help students to broaden their horizon and give them better understanding of corporate world. It is oriented towards exposing students to all the aspects of industry by enabling them to put their newly acquired theoretical knowledge and skills into practice in real world. Students are required to undertake a 60 day project during semester break between the second and third semester, at the end of which they have to submit a detailed project report.
Mega research project:
In the second year, students have to take up a mega project in the area of specialization, which carries crucial credits in the grading system. Students come up with critical findings on the topic at the end of the research and a detailed report on the same is formulated and submitted to the faculty for feedback and evaluation.
Renowned corporates like Zydus Cadila, Intas, Cipla, IFFCO, GCCI, GSFC, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Kalptaru Power Transmission Ltd., etc. have shown interested to enroll the students of GNU-CMS for internship. This interface will be extremely beneficial to students for hands-on expertise and they are able to develop knowledge, competencies and experience directly related to their career goal.
